Meet the Team


Jill Low
Jill earned a master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Denver, where she worked with a wide range of athletes and performers to help them build mental skills for success both in and out of sport. She is passionate about empowering athletes to enhance their performance, confidence, and overall well-being. Before pursuing graduate studies, Jill earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Whitman College, where she was also a member of the varsity swim team. Currently, Jill is a swim coach in Denver, Colorado in addition to being a consultant for Core Mental Performance. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys running, skiing, cooking, and spending time with her dog.


Jonathan Mills
Jonathan is currently pursuing his PhD at Seattle Pacific University (SPU) to become a licensed psychologist with a focus on sport psychology and athlete mental health. He is researching athletic identity and providing mindfulness workshops for college athletes. Jonathan holds a master’s degree in Psychological Science from SPU and a master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Denver. Before embarking on his sport psychology journey, Jonathan spent six years working in business strategy and analytics for the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys walking dogs and playing basketball.


William King
Will earned his master’s in Sport and Performance Psychology from the University of Denver, where his main focus was prioritizing athletes as people first. Specifically, Will worked with athletes to help them understand themselves as humans and consistently perform at their best. In undergrad Will studied Psychology and Spanish, while playing on the club rugby and soccer teams. Will utilizes his sport psychology background while coaching soccer, and helped his U17 boys team to an undefeated season and a championship victory.
